Factakini.net, Jakarta - The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) is now given a new nickname by the ummah and community members, namely 'Ormas with Angels'.

The reason for this is because FPI and its Wing Juang have always been active in helping residents and victims of natural disasters, including helping victims of the flash flood disaster that occurred on Monday (21/9/2020) in the Cibuntu area in Pawasawan Village, Cicurug District, Sukabumi Regency, Java. West.

As a result of this flood, the overflow of the Cibuntu river swept away cars, tore down bridges and broke into residents' buildings, including the Aqua factory and others.

The flash flood overflowing the Cibuntu river occurred around 16.30 to 17.00 WIB or after the Cicurug area of Sukabumi Regency was hit by heavy rain for several hours.

The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) and its fighting wing HILMI plunged swiftly to the location of the flash floods in Cicurug, Monday (21/9/2020) night, especially to the two villages that were severely affected, namely Nyangkowek Village, Mekarsari Village and Cibuntu Village, Pasawahan Village, Cicurug District.

About 50 volunteers from HILMI FPI Sukabumi then cleaned the mud from the floods in residents' housing, mosques, prayer rooms and others. And this activity is still ongoing until Wednesday (23/9/2020) this morning.

The FPI HILMI post was also established at the Riyadulmubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, Purwasari Village RT 02/01, Cicurug Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java and distributed logistical assistance in the form of food, clothing and others for flood victims.

As active as FPI is in helping people in need of assistance, it has made Netizens on Social Media now give the nickname "Ormas with the Heart of Angels" to FPI.

It was not FPI who asked for the nickname, but the people who gave the nickname, masya Allah ...

Even though they are always blasphemed, slandered and given negative framing by hired buzzers and enemies of Islam, thank God that all of these have never prevented FPI Volunteers from continuing to help citizens and victims of natural disasters.

This is in accordance with the mandate of FPI Grand Imam Habib Rizieq so that all FPI Management, Laskar and members are obliged to care and participate in every disaster and disaster location, and in providing assistance wherever the location of the disaster is, to never differentiate between ethnicities, religions and backgrounds. people we want to help.

That's why since its inception until now, the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) has always been active in helping victims of natural disasters and residents in need of assistance.

Among other things, FPI volunteers evacuated tens of thousands of bodies during the Aceh Tsunami in 2004 - 2005, also helped when the embankment broke Situ Gintung, the eruption of Mount Merapi, Mount Sinabung, landslides in Cililin Bandung, landslides in Banjarnegara, Central Java, large floods in Jakarta and many other places, also helping Rohingya Muslims directly in Myanmar, helping the Palestinian people directly in Gaza and others.

FPI has also awakened thousands of Ahmadiyah people back to Islam, FPI helped the Mesuji Lampung people who were persecuted by rulers and businessmen, FPI fought deviant sects, FPI helped earthquake victims in Poso, earthquake victims in Lombok NTB, victims of the eruption of Mount Agung in Bali, fighting communism, FPI provides assistance to Palestine, and so on.

There are still very many and very long lists, thank God, but unfortunately it is rarely reported and even covered up by the national media so many do not know.
